Sue and I strive to be mobile, happy, and healthy. Key factors in our healthy approach include a daily smoothie, a 2 or 3-mile walk daily (weather permitting), organic food whenever possible, minimal sugar, and careful cooking. We love caramelized Brussels sprouts with pine nuts and yams for our skillets. We enjoy line-caught sockeye salmon and organic chicken. Our daily smoothie contains avocado, cucumber, lemon, kale, baby spinach, cinnamon, DMAE, ginger, and chocolate protein powder by Dr. Gundry. In football season, we love to crank up our chili with grass-fed beef, beans, garlic, onion, and spices including Noble Made organic Chili seasoning and parsley.
Over the years we witnessed our siblings adding weight. We made a team decision to stop that life trend. I loved swimming competitively as a high school letterman and lifeguard. I got back in the pool doing laps for cardio and meditation. We committed to walking together more than we usually did. Per FitBit, we walked 2,900 miles last year. We rarely take our phones. We hold hands and visit.

Remove much of the Body Weight to work connective tissues & joints ! Flash forward & Dylan is in Pre-Natal swim class - she was a LifeGuard as would Dylan become.. I sank some more but a ‘chicken vest for slalom skiing finally got me buoyant if I kept up a flutter kick or tread water.. whew !
