Barbados delivers

We wintered in Barbados 3 times, usually 4 to 5 weeks. They have WIFI, immaculate beaches, friendly people, great food, and accommodations are lovely. I presented in Parliament in Barbados, thanks to my friends in BARL (Barbados Auto Racing League). Now with Jet Blue out of Florida, a 3.5 hour flight south delivers you to the palm trees. The Minister of Sports, Culture, and Youth was keen to engage with our proposal to open the first race-driving school on the island. He asked us to train the police and bus drivers first due to vehicle crashes and expenses.

Sue and I are walkers. We hit the beaches early to enjoy the breeze and rack up our steps. So many perfect places to stay along the beaches. We fell in love with the West Coast with perfect sunsets every day. Little Good Harbour delivered with a great apartment, full kitchen, gazebo overlooking the water, lap pool, and excellent kitchen featuring Fish Pot Restaurant. We negotiated a $7K cash rate for the month.

We mentored a Barbados Kart Champion, Christian Hinds. We slotted him for training at the Bondurant Race School in Arizona. There he broke many records bearing NASCAR and IndyCar heroes. We also set him up for testing in Sonoma, California, with my old pal Darren Law. Darren is a legendary star with a Daytona 24-Hour Win and a big-time record with his team Flying Lizards Motorsports.
